2025年5月から11月にかけて多彩なプログラムを展開した「中之島パビリオンフェスティバル2025」は、ひとえにご協賛企業各位のご厚情とご支援の賜物により、盛況裡に幕を閉じることができました。
地域住民やオフィスワーカーをはじめ、国内外の観光客や国際会議の参加者など、多岐にわたる皆様にご来場賜り、いずれからも高い評価を頂きました。
さて、大阪の中心に位置し、堂島川と土佐堀川に挟まれた東西約3キロに及ぶ「島」である中之島は、江戸時代の初頭、淀屋常安が自費で土佐堀川に橋を架け、蔵屋敷の街として歩みを始めて以来、絶えず発展を続けています。
経済・政策の拠点であると同時に、歴史的建造物・美術館・図書館・公園などが集積する、世界に誇る文化資産の宝庫であり、パリのシテ島やベルリンの美術館島にも比肩する水都大阪の象徴です。
ここには、歴史・環境・文化資産が、人とモノとともに織り成す世界水準のクリエイティブアイランドとして飛躍する力があります。この潜在力を最大限に活かし、魅力と創造性を発信することは、大阪・関西のブランド価値を高めるとともに、日本の文化的成熟と社会変革を牽引することにつながります。
本フェスティバルでは、ここ中之島で産官学民が垣根を超えて対話し、未来社会への構想と行動を共有するという視点から、“オール中之島”が結集し、その強い思いを『中之島宣言』として世界に向けて発出することができました。
私たちは本フェスティバルの成果を踏まえ、今後も引き続き“オール中之島”によるまちづくりを進め、多様な来訪者や観光客が共に文化芸術を楽しみ、活況あるビジネスと洗練されたライフスタイルを体感できる魅力溢れる「島」を、未来に向けてさらに目指してまいります。
実施にあたり、ご協賛いただきました皆様、そして、さまざまな形でご支援ご協力いただきました多くの方々に、深く感謝申し上げます。
「中之島パビリオンフェスティバル2025」はひとまず幕を下ろしますが、本フェスティバルから生まれた『中之島宣言』を実行へと昇華させる新たなステージへ、私たちは歩を進めてまいります。
中之島の未来をともに創り、変革し、唯一無二の「場」として確たる姿を築き上げていくためにも、今後とも皆様の積極的なご参画を賜れましたら幸いに存じます。

The "Nakanoshima Pavilion Festival 2025," which featured a diverse range of programs from May to November 2025, has successfully come to a close. This achievement was made possible entirely through the generosity and support of our sponsoring companies.
We welcomed a wide variety of visitors, including local residents, office workers, domestic and international tourists, and participants of international conferences, all of whom provided us with high praise.
Located in the heart of Osaka, Nakanoshima is an "island" stretching approximately three kilometers from east to west, nestled between the Dojima and Tosabori Rivers. Since its beginnings in the early Edo period—when Yodoya Joan built a bridge over the Tosabori River at his own expense and the area began its journey as a district of kurayashiki (warehouse residences)—it has continued to evolve without pause. It serves as a hub for economy and policy while also housing a concentration of historical buildings, art museums, libraries, and parks. As a treasure trove of world-class cultural assets, it stands as a symbol of "Aqua Metropolis Osaka," comparable to the Île de la Cité in Paris or Museum Island in Berlin.
This area possesses the potential to leap forward as a world-class "Creative Island" where history, the environment, and cultural assets are woven together with people and goods. Maximizing this potential to broadcast charm and creativity will not only enhance the brand value of Osaka and the Kansai region but also lead to Japan’s cultural maturity and social transformation. For this festival, "All Nakanoshima" came together to facilitate dialogue across the boundaries of industry, government, academia, and the private sector. From the perspective of sharing visions and actions for a future society, we were able to issue these strong sentiments to the world as the "Nakanoshima Declaration".
Building upon the achievements of this festival, we will continue to promote urban development through "All Nakanoshima."
We aim to further develop this "island" into a place filled with charm—where diverse visitors and tourists can enjoy culture and the arts together, and experience vibrant business and a sophisticated lifestyle.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all our sponsors and to the many individuals who provided support and cooperation in various forms during the implementation of this event. While Nakanoshima Pavilion Festival 2025 draws to a close for now, we are moving forward to a new stage where we will sublimate the "Nakanoshima Declaration" born from this festival into action. We would be honored to have your continued active participation as we work together to create and transform the future of Nakanoshima and establish its firm presence as a unique and one-of-a-kind "place".
